Hey Chris, have you upgraded to the new version of SketchUp? If so, are you using the free web version?
Thank!
Foureyes is like four "kings" in spanish
awesome tutorial
WOW!! I could build 50 pieces of furniture before I could ever learn Sketchup. May as well stick to graph paper. Actually probably quicker…AND MUCH EASIER!
is this the paid version
“ogkay”
Anyone know how to find Sketchup Make for a new-ish Mac? I am not able to locate a working version. I’ve tried CNET, various other places, even HomeBrew but nothing works.
I have an M1 Mac but it shouldn’t need to run on Apple Silicon, can use Rosetta
It’s so frustrating that SketchUp 2017 is no longer available for download. I’m trying to follow along with this tutorial in SketchUp Free, but it’s a totally different experience. This whole "Software as a Service" model is awful for users.
Funnily enough this was a better Sketchup tutorial than most dedicated Sketchup tutorials ive seen and more relevant to what i want to use it for! Cheers!
I just lose an hour to search how I can to do the 10,10. I figured out that for me it’s 10;10 to work out the right way… Let’s continue the video now
Your tutorial is awesome and I love your sense of humor 😆I feel fortunate that my heart needs less focus to keep beating than Sketchup requires 🤣🤣
Bro you’re marvelous. I appreciate your good work
This doesn’t seem to apply to the iPad version. Do you have a tutorial for iPad?
Unfortunately not very helpful if you are not using apple!

I don’t see a downloadable version of ketchup.. anyone got a link?
Thanks
the best and simpelst video for furniture construction on youtube i ever seen so far. Great work!!!
I had been using Sketchup for years and until now never understood the difference between grouping and components. 🤦♂️
Amazing tutorial! I really appreciated you walking through how to create something rather than just explaining the tools.
This is probably a stupid question, but I’m a noob (both to Sketchup and woodworking in general): how do you account for the discrepancy between nominal and actual lumber sizes?
This was very helpful.
I do something more, I make the center piece of the leg unique(the one transversal piece between front and back), to be sure it doesn’t have the recess in it
I’m trying to figure out how, after I’ve created a 2x4x10 piece of lumber, to resize that piece of lumber to a specific size?
can we still download this version of sketchup? All I’m seeing is a browser version that is terrible or $200/400 a year version
Thank you!
17:10 Anyone else stuck on this? When I try to make the rectangle on the diagonally opposite corner, I get a view of the front of the box completely covered. I’ve been racking my brain for 45 minutes but can’t figure out how to do this!
I just discovered you, in late 30’s started with sketchup, I like your work so will buckle up and watch.
To be honest, there were some things in your process where I was thinking “oh no! Rookie mistake!” But then you addressed how to fix them in much simpler ways that I would have fixed them. (Flip along X axis instead of rotate tool; for example) I definitely learned something from this. Great video!
Thank you. Most useful ad engaging tutorial I’ve come across yet.
Do you have any designs with C&C machines.?
WOW!!!! I am super grateful… Thanks so much….
20:06 when you do this using the push/pull tool, how is the backside of the rectangle (drawer panel) getting pushed and not the front?!
Is there a way to make the current web version look like 2017, does desktop version look different? I want to follow this video and relearn sketchup but it looks so foreign online.
What is command? I’m on Windows 10 PC.
everytime I do the partition part at 17:15 it automatically refills the void I just made in the step prior. What am I doing wrong?????
Anyone having a hard time getting past the 19:00 minute mark. I haven;t figured out the rectangle part yet And I am using the 2021 version. Any help?
Thanks, been using make 2017 for awhile and you taught me some new tricks, I would like to see episode 2
Excellent content and presentation
The best
Anyone have have a problem with components. I can Create and duplicate boxes, but when I edit one, none of the other components changes.
Very useful and detail tutorial. Thanks bro.
I’m not able to download the free version. There site says they aren’t offering the free version anymore. Kinda sucks but I’m not sure I want to pay for the service before knowing if I like it.
TY so much! this is awesome!
Awesome. Thanks
love this tutorial
good video man !
とても分かりやすいビデオです!初心者として色々なコツ持たなって、操作苦手ですが、一時に無料版のせいとおもいますwww 今はちょっと上手になってほんとにありがとうございます😀
Anyone have an idea how I could hire someone to create a sketch up for my build out? Need to build a cutting table for my shop and would like to outsource this part. Having a cut list and time saving part would be SO helpful!
