Only hand tools – Jewerly box making
Only hand tools – Jewerly box making
One day woodworking project. Jewelry box or gift box – A good project for the weekend to give a gift to your loved one! As you can see, as always maple and walnut, the finishes are usually tung oil with carnauba wax.

I am comfortable with most wood projects, but that texture you cut into the lid just terrifies me. I would make such a mess of that.
Love the 45 degree piece of wood to use as a mitre jig with the chisel!
Whats that hand plane you are using to smooth things out ?
Stunning work! Beautiful and elegant design, executed so well. Very curious about that little groove plane you’re using, can you tell us more about that? Also, that tape measure is very cool.
excellent work! The power of sharp hand tools in good hands!
Can’t spell. It’s “jewellery” not “jewelry”.
Such an amazing work and awesome result. Thank you so much 👍
just beautiful
Yuri, can you tell us which gouge that is you used?
扔了吧。破玩意。
Excellent fit and finish. Well done. 😁🇨🇦
Inspiring!
Very nice
nice work
Beautiful and inspiring. Thank you
From one George to another George: Beautiful build. I admire not only your woodworking skill but also your excellent videography as well.
Very nicely done. One critique. By using a single long board for the case only three of the joints will be grain matched. A shorter board resawn would give you a grain match on all four corners. Excellent texturing of the top.
Nice
Your really good, well done!
Nice hand tool work!!!!!
Hipsters playing with tools pretending to be experts. LAME
Nice
Earned a subscription with this one video. That’s a first for me. I’m usually pretty slow to sub. But taking a fairly simple project and taking the time to perfect it is appreciated.
E essa plaina, qual é?
I like your work!
This video is very relaxing. Thanks for making this with no music except at the end.
Bro… Where did you get that really cool tape measurer??

Show de bola 👍👍👏👏👏🇧🇷👊
Bravo…
what tools did you use
Very good, but joint is visible need more attention.👍liked
Nice work. You’re ready to take your hand tool skills to the next level I reckon so ditch the mitre jig and put away your pull saw. Your work will be better for it.
superbe
Fantastic job fella.
Absolute beauty! What was the tool you used to make the rabbits? I haven’t seen something that small!
Your videos are addictive. Greetings from Mexico
great to watch you and get inspired – thank you
Beautiful work. You need a block plane. Lol.
Wohltuend, die Ruhe und Geduld, mit der du deine Projekte realisierst.👍🏼
Would you recommend doing this as a beginner project? I have never done any wood working and I would love to get in to it but due to lack of space and fund to get equipment I have always tell myself no. I would love to make boxes and stand for my everyday use or as a gifts to my friends and family. If this isn’t a good starting project, what would you recommend? Any advice will truly be appreciated!
A beautiful example of artistic expression
