I would just like to add that I find short compression sleeves help relieve my PF. The biggest problem with them is that the ride up the foot and so I have sewn on a length of elastic which goes thong style between the big and second toe. I also have a pair of Spenco Yumi thongs/flip-flops which I wear in the summer, which provide good arch support. Great video though, well explained!

Never a lot of cowboy boots and they don’t come with insoles I always buy an over-the-counter one but now since I have heel pain plantar fasciitis I have a custom orthotic insole and it’s a mazing… First day in brace that an athletic ankle brace that I use at night to keep my foot in a 90° position and I know how to basically wrapped up but it’s only logical that you need to support it and not to be a ballerina in bed giggles thank you for the video

If it doesn’t stretch, then how the problem is found on the fact that is stretched and we want to shorten it in order to maintain the arch?

I`ve been encountering plantar fasciitis soreness on and off for 5 years and I have mainly tried just about everything. When I found plantar fasciitis guide , Sαnzoka Mula (Go ogle it). I was able to get rid of the discomfort within a week. I attained the great results three months ago and I’m so happy that I no longer feel the soreness caused by the disorder.

My podiotrist told me I have this. I’ve been in excruciating pain with my arches for 7 years and it hurts not just the first time i step down, it hurts for every single second I’m on my feet. Are you meaning to tell me that I was misdiagnosed?

  19. Much Sunshine on June 23, 2022 at 9:21 pm

I always assumed I have plantar fasciitis, however although the pain is worse first thing in the morning, it’s painful throughout the day.

Today is my second day on plantar fasciitis treatment plan , Sαnzoka Mula (Go ogle it) and the discomfort is 95% gone! I can in fact stroll and run effortlessly, and I`m positive by the end of the week I`ll be able to get back to my soccer exercise. I can now show to my trainer that plantar fasciitis can be relieved within days.

I’ve learned more very good information here than at my last 4 doctor’s appointments. I had the impression that if I stretched every day it would solve the problem. I’m so glad that I came across this video.

My heel burn all the time and painful all the time

  34. far77fae on June 23, 2022 at 9:38 pm

I feel your explanation very encouraging. What are your thoughts on vids that are showing how a narrow toe box for the foot is also a cause and how toe spreaders or toe shoes that are realigning toes can help. Thanks for leaving this video up.

  35. LKW on June 23, 2022 at 9:39 pm

I got relief with steroid injections for many years. You are spot on with getting good arch supports and good sneakers or footwear. I like your practical approach to treating this and that you are truly looking out for your patient’s best interest

Cheers good info Julia I find a podiatry roller with gel and able to put in the fridge for freezing works great!

  37. yoland cameron on June 23, 2022 at 9:42 pm

Thank you very good information that can help. I was well informed. Yes I now see how many useless products I have bought. And was now about to buy a foot massage machine that would have worsen the problems as the arch would have been massaged in the wrong direction. I have the super feet orthotics which I have not been using regularly at all , so I will now do that and continue icing.

  38. Michael on June 23, 2022 at 9:43 pm

    Very informative. Thank you!

  39. Ronda Yung on June 23, 2022 at 9:45 pm

I have been dealing with foot pain for a about 4 months, I have had laser therapy, I have had 1 injection, I have three sets of orthotics, because I have lots of shoes . When I get out of bed and put my slippers on and yes there are orthotics in my slippers, I walk and have pain, but my pain does not lessen the more I walk. My foot will throb, my calf’s will tighten, yes I do stretches. I have another appointment with my foot doctor July 10th, I am requesting a exray.
My question for you, can my hip, pelvic or my sciatic nerve cause plantar fasciitis if these three are out of alignment and inflamed.?

For me the hard part now is deciding if going back to running will make my calcaneus worsen. I think it does but only slightly so I may take another month off

  42. buldonz wenkinz on June 23, 2022 at 9:49 pm

I don’t have ANY foot pain yet but extremely sweaty feet suddenly, with several audible cracks and snaps in the morning for the first few steps, am I on my way to this problem? Been trying to stretch my tight calves but like you said seems to be getting worse…

  43. Leslie Desnick on June 23, 2022 at 9:54 pm

Great video! I have hat plantar fasciitis for a month and tried stretching and icing to no avail. After watching this video I learned what the problem was. I purchased Powelift orthotics and wore them one day and the pain subsided. Thank Dr. Julia.

The best video of the subject, everything explained in details and gives a lot of information what is necessary to do and what not for the healing process.

  46. Dingle Berry on June 23, 2022 at 9:57 pm

    Invasive.

  47. Dan on June 23, 2022 at 9:58 pm

I disagree that if it’s still painful after walking a bit, then it’s probably something other than Plantar Fasciitis. It’s still painful, just not as much. She also said it doesn’t stretch, so stretching exercises don’t work, yet everyone else says it does.

  48. Salvador Galeano on June 23, 2022 at 9:58 pm

Why do you feel that gel padding the foot’s heel is useless, however earlier in the video low dye taping the foot was one of the recommendations listed. What is the difference?
