#workbench
Great idea
I’ve tried doing this project twice and it has a major design flaw. Trying to drill a straight 8inch 3/4 hole is virtually impossible without a drill press. I wouldn’t do this project unless you have a drill press.
I love the video and understand that you have to make money with ads, but I feel like you had to much ad talk for a 23 minute video. I can only imagine those who don’t have premium! Love your builds and what do I know, I can’t make more than a video once a year or so
I thought you said it was made out of one 2×10? Why are you using other wood?
I’ll make sure that I have a workbench and multiple power tool s before I make my work bench with multiple power tools.
You’re right the pockets on women’s clothing are useless or non existent, so I get excited about pockets too. Those pants look great!
Brilliant. Been thinking of making one of these for a long time, and having watched the whole video, can’t think of anything I’d do differently. Thank you.
Genial,excelente.
Great video on this beautiful Bench!
Perhaps a stupid question from Me. But would it become an issues using the imperial measurements when building this Bench for me living in the metric country of Sweden?
A year ago, I was really impressed with this build, and put it on the back burner. After one year of woodworking, it looks like it’s time to make a nice joinery bench.
Nice. Great video , hope ya got warm afterwards you looked great in your( multi) pocket overalls .
Great channel. Thank you.
So to build this bench that I’ll need if I don’t have a shop, I’ll need a table saw, a miter saw, a planer, a good drill, a special bit for that drill, router etc. It’s a very cool bench and I will be building one to leave in my car, but the messaging is a little confusing, I don’t see how a beginner, or someone without a shop can actually follow this advice. It’s definitely possible to do it with minimal tools, but that’s really not what was shown, even chiseling the mortises was skipped in favor of a machine, this didn’t really demonstrate how to do this without all the fancy tools, you’re gonna have to figure that out yourself with whatever tools you happen to have.
I would like to build this but can’t find a link to buy the plans. Can you help please.
This tiny workbench is super cool! 😀 The baby bench 😄 It’s kind of cute, but I personally find this project to be super useful. Thanks Tamar! As usual great well explained video 🙂👌🏼
The advertisements in between are so annoying and unnecessary. Please stick to the topic of your video and earn your money otherwise.
Hey, great vid! The link to the overdrive bit seems to go to a page no longer available. Any chance on updating it?
Thanks 🙏
Aqui e BRASIL foi bom ter conhecer você e bem eclética e funsionau grtidao mandou muito bem
Up front… I have NOT read the 3.7K comments… So I ONLY have a few battery powered tools. Drill, circular saw, jigsaw, hand router and brad nailer. The video I would love to see is building this with the tools mentioned.
This beats all the PRO tutorials on workbenches I have seen! They all assume we live in huge houses, and shitloads of money. But this really addresses majority of people!
Looks nice, interesting training, but for $50 there if portable woodworking bench.
Tamar I’m wondering where you got the hardware for your vice
素晴らしい👍👍👍👑✨
thanks
You are amazing!
С таким набором инструментов можно и самолёт построить🙄 а как быть когда нет таких станков, на коленке?? А так конечно задумка очень хорошая, а для женщины такие навыки так вообще фантастика)). Лайк однозначно. 👍
I’ve just bought a couple of folding sawhorses, and I was thinking of making a bench top for them. This is just awesome!
дас ист фантастиш
Glued with an error. You should place the core outside.
Wow, insainly nice job of breaking this down into into doable steps and showing how to build this versatile bench and showing all it can do. Only you could have pulled this off. You are a rock star!
I can be
That’s pretty cool! It would be cooler if you talked slower and didn’t have a fortune in tools but hey, more power to you
Great vid thanks for sharing 👍😀
May be it’s as versatile as mobile Black & Deckers Workbench (0,4 cm x 0,3m x 0,1 m).
Hello from the Uk….You are Awesome…..And you can Cook too….!!! 😄
Why arent there more Woman like you…🥰
This video is not possible to put in a playlist. Why?
Excellent work ideas craftsmanship I will be looking in for more helpful tips Thank you
Non-stop product placement 👎
Muito bom, congrat!
So basically you need a shop to make the bench if you don’t have a shop… Quite clever…
Can’t I just buy one from you?
I would laminate this bench with some hardwood like oak or something similar
Would you recommend using mdf for this
Hi, I appreciate your instructions and craftsmanship. I am looking for the right size bushing that I assume would be 1-1/2 in as opposed to the 1 inch I think you had. I have looked at hardware stores for it and they don’t have a smooth steel bushing like that one. Do you know where you got it? Or does it have a more specific name than bushing which is so general across several crafts? Thanks.
Had distant memories of my dad starting out his carpentry/building business with a gifted black and decker workbench (he’d always used his rustic traditional wooden workboxes and basic tripods)
I got one the other day..😬…not sure if its modern build quality or my misty memories but i dont remember them being tinplate, bamboo and wobbly as hell 🤣 something went wrong with the timeline people. ..very wrong.
This is brilliant
Hi Tamar! What is the name of that tool you used to mark the wood at 7:26? Loved this project and the way you explain things! I’ve just discovered you here in youtube!
HI, thank you for the video it’s very clear! The plans are available in metric or only in imperial ?
thank you for sharing that
Wow, so glad I found your channel! New to wood wooding via epoxy river plaques and looking to move towards larger pieces .
