Quickies: Table Saw Outfeed Rollers
Quickies: Table Saw Outfeed Rollers
My main workbench sits immediately behind my table saw. I’ve been able to use it as an outfeed table for a while but doing so required stacking up pieces of lumber to raise the height to the same level as the table saw. Invariably, those wood blocks would topple or get pushed aside by the stock.
I decided to build a set of out feed rollers that could drop into the dog holes in my bench and be easily picked up and moved out of the way when they weren’t needed.
This build used some left over pieces of pine and I purchased some conveyor rollers from Aliexpress. I later found out you can also buy these rollers locally (Harbor Freight stocks them, for example) but they are somewhat cheaper ordering direct from China (as long as you don’t mind the lengthy ship time).
Thank you for sharing.
Bravissimo. Dove si comprano i rollers? Puoi darmi il link? Grazie
Well done. thanks for sharing!
Thanx!
You still smart Engineer
Gotdayum this soundtrack! Good grief get funky!
Remember, you have a diverse group of people watching videos. A more generic track of music would be better. The reason we don’t hit the mute button , as one knee-jerk idiot spoke of below, is that we don’t want to risk missing any narrative you might be interjecting. Would much rather hear the narrative than music, anyway. By the way, I lasted a whole minute.
Loved the song and video. Who was the artist?
after 7 second hearing the music you lost a vewer
Aye and after a further 7 seconds you lost another viewer. What makes you think people want to hear such music for a woodworking tutorial. Get a bit of sense.
Sometimes the music bothers me, sometimes it doesn’t. Great video! I watched all the way thru and i will be making this next spring. I found the rollers at HF and the size on your link is cheaper at HF. (Of course i had to do metric conversion to telOf)I’m going to purchase them now before the price goes up. Thanks so much for your video. It gave me just the ideas I needed for my diy table saw outfeed.
If you find the music in this video annoying or bothersome or would prefer to hear narrated project details, check out my updated video! https://youtu.be/8OKXN7-UnqA
Great video such a pity about that awful musak
I enjoy your taste in music. And appreciate your creativity. I plan to make some outfeed rollers following your ideas. Thanks.
