Is there something different between this and other blade guards as far as installation? Looks the same as all blade guards I’ve seen, with slight differences.

Thanx man! Wife bought me one and I’ve been doing the scary “It’ll be fine..” for the last few months. This will help for all my future projects

Wow thank you sir your tutorial is so much better than the instructions that came with my new Ryobi 8 1/4 table saw and I didn’t want to operate it without the guard Ryobi should send you some free tools , money or something 😅👍

I have the 8.25" version, but the issues are the same. Never would have figured it out without your guidance. Reaching the lever to raise the blade is perilous. I used some big slip-jaw pliers to save my fingers. Once you understand the geometry, it seems simple. Made my first rip cut. Like butter. Do a video on hooking up a vacuum or something simpler to catch sawdust.

Thank you for this! I bought my Ryobi Tablesaw about a year and a half ago and practically tossed the instructions with the guard across the garage and have been using it without the guard ever since. Now thanks to you, I can install it be work a bit safer. Thanks!!

Just was out in the garage trying to figure out how to attach the guard and couldn’t make sense of it. So grateful your video was the first to pop up. Thank you!
