I have a bin that is 2 x 3 x 3 that is absolutely filled with scrap and have been looking for something to do with them. I have already emptied it about a 1/2 dozen times and that is just a lot of waste. Thanks for making this video, I look forward to see what else you have made with those scraps.
where do you find most scrap wood?
I think that you should replace that pegboard with the piece of plywood and with all this ply you have on the table you could make holders for many different tools. You could also hide least used stuff from there and put it in drawers or something. I think it would make the shop much more organized.
I have a question…we just put in a wooden privacy fence and had to cut about 12 inches or so off the bottom of each of the pickets so they would be (5.5" X 12 – 16") just right for little signs (indoors) I was sanding the wood pieces today and getting excited about this project but then I remembered this is treated wood. Do I have a drying period before I start painting my little signs? I live in Northeast Ohio if that matters. Can I use just the regular craft paint? Thank You for your help!
Good Music and fun stuff. I wish there was more structure and maybe something slighly more complex that I could make. I am always looking for fun new things to make.
That c shaped sander you made is a great idea I will be using that one for sure thanks for sharing.

In 30 years of woodworking, I’ve come to know many others. It amazed me how many tricks they used in their shops. All the cool tools they made from scrap.
