#shorts This is my process for glue ups. Taping the clamps definitely helps keep them clean! No, biscuits or domino’s are not required if the lumber is milled well.

I put glue on both sides. Work with oak, walnut and cherry. Am I wasting my time doing this. Thanks
From what I’ve seen only one commenter has talked about calls. And I also think about end grain orientation. But this is a nice basic vid for beginners
cool
What’s new?
Just curious. I keep seeing youtubers doing shorts and using that hashtag. Did you guys get together and decide this was a good idea or did some "expert" suggest it?
Thanks this helped alot😅
Good content Brandon.
Hey Brandon, How important do you think the clamps on the ends of the glue seams really are? I have seen videos where they are added and others where they are not. Is it more of just a "just in case" or have you learned that they are needed?
So how strong is the connection once it’s dried? Like, if a karate student punched it, would the wood crack or the glue line crack?
Do you ever use cauls when it’s not lining up right? Or do you use something else?
I just wish I had the money to buy all the clamps I see necessary to do jobs like this. Just tooling up puts me off woodworking.
i hate these shorts
I like to use a few biscuits to help keep long boards like these aligned during glue up.
No talking, no music, no video
