Sip 01332 Table saw, What do you get ?
Sip 01332 Table saw, What do you get ?
Welcome back to my workshop ๐.
In todays video I show you my “New to me” Sip 10″ cast iron table saw ๐.
I quickly run through the process of looking for a suitable saw and then look at what I finally got.
I hope this first look at the Sip 01332 10″ cast iron table saw is helpful.
The will no doubt be follow up videos of me getting this beast ready for service.
Please note:- I didn’t show any prices in this video as they are changing so rapidly….. the info would be out of date by the time you see it.
Please like and sub if you can, it means a lot to me and my channel.
Thanks for watching….. and stay safe ๐๐

Hi frank. Iโve got this saw but have a problem with the rise and fall worm screw. Iโve emailed sip but no reply. Iโm missing the nuts off the end of the screw. At 14.52 in your video you can clearly see 2 nuts on the right end side of the worm screw. When I try to lower the blade the handle simply unscrews as nothing is there to stop it.Are these simply nuts screwed on and opposing each other so they donโt come loose or is it something more technical? The parts diagram from sip is useless tbh. Thanks for any help.
Beautiful piece of kit. Well done on finding it, can’t wait to see you making the most of it. Where’s it going? with a 5′ guide rail it’s going to be taking pride of place. I preferred the SIP but got the Charnwood as the new SIP was a lot of money. Thanks for keeping us up to date.
New Tool Day, nice! Enjoy the upgrade Frank, it’s always fun to level up one of the key tools.
The saw is different to mine, but it looks like we have pretty much the exact same fence. My fence stays square for about five minutes after I service it, then it is angle city. ๐
I always use a speed square to double check before I cut, might be worth getting in that habit until you can trust that your one rolls and locks square. ๐
Hi Frank – I’ve been running one of these for a couple of years on a 13a fuse and it’s not blown once yet. Thanks for the video, nice to see another 01332 to compare the condition of mine with!
Wow, that looks the business Frank๐๐. Hope it works out well for what you need๐๐
Thatโs a nice bit of kit. I wouldnโt be as brave to buy it second hand as Iโm no good with motors of electrics. Worth it if you know what youโre at though. ๐๐พ
Looks to be in great condition Frank! Weirdly straight after my video i discovered mine is a 30mm bore! another great video frank! ๐ป๐๐
You was lucky picking that up frank. Not the end of the world to pick it up from Essex. Iโm also in Essex frank. Might see you in a timber yard at some point๐ฌ
Thanks so much for making this video! I am currently in the process of purchasing a saw 2nd or 3rd hand identical to this one but itโs called Power Super and I canโt find anything about it online. Iโm pretty sure itโs the same machine and itโs 440 GBP.
Do you think thereโs a chance that it could fit into the back of a new model Vauxhall Corsa??
Hello Frank,
You use a different table saw. Seeing its engine, I realized it was a powerful chainsaw. Thank’s for the information. See you. Big greetings. Yours sincerely, Mehmet.
Hi Frank I think I saw the motor plate stating 2800w, at 220/240 volts it will run at 11-12amps so a 13 amp plug should be OK. unless the motor draws more at start-up! The usual circuit breaker for a ring main is about 30amp but your garage workshop sockets might be on a 16amp breaker – still OK. (I think. It’s been a lot of years since I did any proper sparky work.) Good luck with your new saw. ๐ ๐
Just thought problems might occur when you try to run it along with you dust extraction, which will probably take it over the 16 amp!
Great looing upgrade. We just got Laguna in Oz, looks nice but yeah, price is up there. Looks like you got a good deal with a bit of elbow grease.
Looks similar to my 12inch table saw mine is a hafco SB12 by hare& Forbes here in Australia it’s got open grille wings & motor hangs out of the rear belt driven too fence & the rails for the fence look identical with mine you have to check the distance between fence & blade at front & rear as the fence doesn’t adjust parallel to the blade at the rear apart from that it’s a powerful tool i bought mine new here in Australia for $900 currently they are around $1300 looking forward to your test cuts on it cheers mate ๐๐๐ฆ๐บ
Sounds like you got a great deal for that (saw you comment on grumpys post!) It’ll be great when you clean it up! Looks pretty much identical to mine in the inside. Thanks for the shout out Frank, wasn’t expecting that!
Very Nice table saw Frank ๐๐
Great video Frank… looks like you got a good saw, what a beast that fence and rail is huge mate ๐๐๐ looking forward to the next episode ๐
Looks like a great saw. I would love a proper saw like that especially one with an induction motor. So come on then spill the beans how much was it???
Thatโs a beast of a saw frank, look forward to seeing up and running. ๐
Hi Frank… great bit of kit that… the fence is a beast… I went down the cheap route and have regretted it ever since… great video… take care…All the best…..Andy
Frank, thats a great powerful saw, and like the condition it is in. Pretty good inside where it really matters. Whats the plan for that small rust marks on the top?
