STANLEY no. 5 Jack Plane and STANLEY no. 6 Fore Plane
STANLEY no. 5 Jack Plane and STANLEY no. 6 Fore Plane
This is a Stanley no. 5 Jack Plane and a Stanley no. 6 Fore Plane at work on a piece of Walnut with a lot of grain variation and ‘character’ 😀 Living the #PaulSellers lifestyle every chance I get. 🙂
Seems like it would be better to just start with the 6 or scrub plane.
Always felt No 6 was the step-child of hand planes but man can it remove some wood.
Big, big fan of the #6. I love it for so many different things. It can do most all of what the #5 can do, but with the length, it is great for 80% of the boards I want to joint and level.
Works for me. Good video as I just purchased a No 6 to go along with my No 5.
Well that was intresting 😂😂
