    Good job man!

This is a great build. I am just laying out my small shop space and this is very helpful. Nicely done!!

Please stop using the word "super". You’re an adult…use adult words

  4. Will Johnson on March 16, 2022 at 5:32 pm

I made an outfeed table and cut ~1” holes in the bottom shelf above those adjustable feet, so all I need to do to adjust is stick a screwdriver (or drill for large adjustments) in that hole to adjust the legs – no lying on the floor adjusting in cramped spaces. Just a suggestion!

  5. Dominic Dominguez on March 16, 2022 at 5:33 pm

Probably one of the first DIY video I didn’t have to watch at 2x speed. Very well done. With the current lumber pricing, about how much would the materials for this build cost? Sans table saw

  6. Ping Pong on March 16, 2022 at 5:34 pm

Very functional – do you think you could accurately cut down a 4×8 sheet in the middle with this setup?

  7. dragade101 on March 16, 2022 at 5:34 pm

Do watch your fingers with a nailer. Sometimes they can double fire in the same place so the 1st nail that left the gun is going to deflect and wonder away from just going straight (which means if your fingers are in line, the nail may travel into your digits) (eg watch your fingers when nailing a corner together).

You got a great friend right there. Very nice tablesaw bench.

    Very nice

This is so well done. I am BRAND NEW to woodworking and I want to buy a table saw. I’ve been obsessing over whether I should buy an 8-1/4 in. or a 10 in. DEWALT. The 10 in. Accepts dado stacks. Ive read that an 8 1/4 in has benefits over a 10 in. And vice versa. Just wondering if anyone has any thoughts on that. The 8 1/4 is $299 and the 10 is $599 so a big jump.

    Looks great!

Came for the dog, stayed for the build. Great video; subscribed!

  13. William Lansberry on March 16, 2022 at 5:41 pm

Your dog is named after a guy who sells ramen noodles to prisoners for $1.50 EACH. 2 dollar shower shoes for only $8.00.

  14. Erwin Moreno on March 16, 2022 at 5:42 pm

Love it. I might just build one

  15. Gary Crumrine on March 16, 2022 at 5:43 pm

Pro tip? With a set up like that.. you can’t use that term… LOL

  16. Don Lemke on March 16, 2022 at 5:44 pm

I love this build. You out done yourself. I’m buying these casters and stops at this moment. I won’t be building such a table like yours. about 30" deep, 8ft long with a cut out for a stool to go under the workbench.

  17. djtblizzle on March 16, 2022 at 5:47 pm

This must have cost a fortune. Nice bench 👍🏽

  18. Jehan Martinez on March 16, 2022 at 5:47 pm

I’m buying the Dwe7485 model, would following the plans be accurate or would I have to change some dimensions since it’s not the Dwe7491rs?

  19. Cullen Bohannon on March 16, 2022 at 5:47 pm

Great build and video man. I’m currently making a plan for a table similar but with a router table on the opposite end and with wheels on it because my space is limited. Plus I have another table that pulls off the wall that will attach to make a flat 4×8 work surface.

  20. Mike Wilander on March 16, 2022 at 5:49 pm

This is great. Your mitre is the same as my first one that my mom got me. I REALLY appreciate you showing how everyone is human. I’m planning to buy this same table saw and I love how the big space is an empty slate for shelves, dust collection, or a router lift. I’ll be buying your plans soon! 😃

    Amazing job man

  25. Lance Kelbaugh on March 16, 2022 at 5:53 pm

Great looking bench! Just bought the plans. Quick question about the levers to take the fence off.. is the latch in the back blocked until you move the fence all the way out? Or is there room to open the latch no matter the fence is?

  26. Jason Riley on March 16, 2022 at 5:55 pm

@10:32, would have loved to view you fitting that notched table saw plywood base in 😉

    Improvise, adapt, and overcome.

  28. Milan Dzunda on March 16, 2022 at 5:57 pm

Going to build similar bench for my 7492 saw. Just have to make sure shop vac will fit right under the table neatly. But first I have to get shop vac. Any recommendations which to get?

I’m considering building this next week. Your friend stopping and looking at the camera a couple times cracks me up.

  34. Royal Dee on March 16, 2022 at 6:02 pm

Great video and awesome table! This is exactly what I was looking for. Curious to know if you made any changes/improvements since you’ve built it? I’m thinking it would be good to add some drawers on one or both sides, maybe a vertical storage area to put some templates that I have.

  35. Joseph Behrmann on March 16, 2022 at 6:05 pm

A great idea to incorporate a saw into a work bench. But why the edging trim? Quality ply looks just great with polished edges – ask the Danes!

  36. Dave Pierce on March 16, 2022 at 6:07 pm

First of all, kudos to Bob Barker and his awesome and indispensable contributions to your bench build. I have a King Charles that keeps me sane in my shop.
The simplicity of this build makes it just that much more special and repeatable for someone like me. I’m finally going to be purchasing my table saw this winter and have looked at several integrated benches and really like the approach you took with this one. You have enough lapping of the joints to insure good stability without getting outrageous with some of the mystery puzzle piece joinery I’ve viewed on others. They are beautiful and clever, but at the end of the day, it’s a workbench and I don’t want to be afraid to work on it. I also like your solution to leveling and mobility, like the rest of the bench, it’s simple and effective.
I wanted to pass along my thanks for taking the time to explain and clearly demonstrate the build … you even disclose a Mulligan or two in the process. Very few of us can get through a complete project like this error free … it’s the human thing to do … including it in the video gives the rest of us a bit of confidence knowing were not alone.
Consider me a new sub … Cheers my friend …

    Build plans available here: https://www.etsy.com/listing/976539293/table-saw-workbench-plan?ref=shop_home_active_1&crt=1
I wanted to answer a couple common questions: My table saw is a dewalt DWE7491RS. It comes with an arbor long enough to hold up to a 3/4 inch dado stack.
Let me know your thoughts on the build, and what add-ons would be helpful in your workshop.

  38. Marco A. Casco on March 16, 2022 at 6:09 pm

Great job !!!!! Beautiful bench, well crafted !!!!….Not a fan of direct drive table saws, too noisy !!!!

  39. Martin Brindza on March 16, 2022 at 6:11 pm

Would adding a stainless sheet on top of the plywood be a good addition? i suppose it would throw of the alignment though huh. Thanks for the video, about to purchase the plans!

  40. Dabney on March 16, 2022 at 6:12 pm

Great video and nice project but Youtubers overuse of "go ahead" is just as annoying.

  41. Sebastopolmark on March 16, 2022 at 6:13 pm

GREAT build. I am in a one car garage and this will work for me. I like the fact that the 2X4’s are on the inside of the legs so you have a place to clamp projects. Pro Tip, make the saw frame loose and adjust it to the finished height with the saw on the base. The only thing I will add is dust collection for the saw, it spits sawdust EVERYWHERE! !! !!!

  42. Randall Sheehe on March 16, 2022 at 6:17 pm

What are the length and width dimensions of the top?

  43. Adam Napiorkowski on March 16, 2022 at 6:17 pm

First project; having minor difficulties with it but so far it is coming (and staying) together.

  44. Jamey Mikels on March 16, 2022 at 6:17 pm

Your problem solving with limited tools is impressive!

  45. 1990notch on March 16, 2022 at 6:18 pm

Very nice job on that! Only change I would make is put some formica or a thin sheet of stainless steel on the top.

  46. Steven Weiss on March 16, 2022 at 6:19 pm

GREAT SET OF PLANS!!! Thank you……………..

Great bench! Going to build this tomorrow but will be a 4×8. I need the size due to the kinds of projects I do. Believe it or not, this will only be a supplemental table for another bigger more complex table that I will be building.
