  8. Bernard Douthit on January 12, 2022 at 10:37 pm

Karl – I just came across your channel this evening and really like it. My Girlfriend/Partner is from Northumberland, just a few hours north of you I’d bet. I’m new to woodworking, but I’ve already built a set of custom doors for my house and a trivet for my mom. One question, I’m having a tough time keeping tools on the wall. I’ve got one of those traditional pegboards, but it seems the hooks fall out half the time I lift the tool off of a hook. Do you have any videos on how to organize tools on a wall and what mounts to use. Your walls look fantastic with your tools all neat and organized. Thanks.

Great ideas! First of your videos I have watched. Just a note. Consider slowing down in the videos. Flows better, easier for people to follow, and bonus it will make longer videos…which means more watch time.

  23. Max Towers on January 12, 2022 at 10:56 pm

I’m 100% for metric. With that being said, measurements in mm ( millimetres) seem, idk, over the top and cumbersome. Why not centimetres?

A good channel that I will subscribe to IF …. You stop with the incessant pop-ups about subscribing, website etc. Concentrate on the video and the self promotion will follow.

I am surprised this is the first time I am seeing your channel. It is growing strong. You will be at 10k and then 100k subscribers in no time. Looking forward to seeing more of your videos. This was a great video. My channel is not as large as yours but you are setting a good example for us with newer channels. Keep making sawdust. I am subscribed.

  33. Richard Gray on January 12, 2022 at 11:09 pm

Great video, Karl – I’m looking to get into making more product this year and your videos are really useful. Just about to buy a few big bits of kit so being able to offset the cost by selling some stuff is great. Last year or so my day job has been badly affected so this change of income generation could be very useful – thanks again 🙂 Rich

  34. DIY MAN on January 12, 2022 at 11:10 pm

I love seeing what’s selling in the UK. Thanks for the video. I subscribed. I’m curious about some of your upcoming builds. Thanks for the hard work on the videos

  35. Kenneth Reed on January 12, 2022 at 11:11 pm

Hi – I just came across your channel. Your accent made me keep listening (I’m sure you hear that a lot from Americans..), but your genuine friendly and sincere personality is what made me subscribe. Thanks for your willingness to show us – new to woodworking (and second career, hopefully) folks – a pathway forward.
Such a “breath of fresh air” to see on the web..!

Love the simplicity of the projects. I tend to find myself making projects more difficult than they need to be. I need to choose a couple your ideas and STICK TO THE SCRIPT!
    Thank you!
    Best Regards, David

Where do you advertise and sell at? Facebook is awful, people want everything for a dollar, but where else do you get your work out there for people to see?
