Every woodworking task can be done lots of ways. Which means almost every woodworking project can be done with just a few tools. I go over the 5 tools needed to make almost any woodworking project. I also talk about corded vs cordless, which brand to get, and mention a few non-woodworking tools that I use a LOT in my woodworking.

Corded vs cordless: corded is best.
What tool brand: the one you can afford
Circular saw vs jigsaw: jigsaw anyday
Pocket screws are for lazy carpenters
    Drill vs driver: drill
Router: get the router table instead

If you are working in small area or even shop , all tools except for impact driver and drill I would take the corded. Corded tools will keep working for years without depending on batteries…

This one was really good. I wouldn’t have thought about a lot of those points on my own, especially in the middle of Home Depot. +1
