Of you’ll put paste wax on everything it won’t rust and corrode
Artwork making artwork.
Nothing like a sharp plane put to work…
I love that you retained just the right amount of patina.
I found a 9 1/4 in the wall of my 65yo house when i was remodeling. Nearly prefect shape.
Great job. You have a gift there my friend. Keep up the good work.
Bravo! Great job
Great restoration, I like how you brought the plane back to good working order and cleaned it up but kept it original by not repainting it
Have you ever seen or used any John Neeman axes, knives or woodworking tools??
Beautiful work on that plane restoration……Take care, Bluefin.
I picked up a Stanley 9 1/2 block plane from goodwill today for $1.99! Pretty awesome little plane!
Do you know the model of the one with the red beer cap on it ?
I have one and it just says made in can!
That was actually a lower end model
I have the same plane!!! Do you know the years it was made??
Just a piece of advice I restore a lot of planes next time tried some degreaser and a tooth brush on the body of the plane to get all crud out I use grease lightning and it works really well
Hi, no vinegar this time?? Would vinegar damage the japanning? How do you decide what to polish and how polish? Nice work, thx u.
Excellent. I have one Craftsman plane just like that. Believe made by Stanley for them, every detail the same. One exception it has an adjustable throat. Like you said, great little go-to plane to have around.
Nice video PLANE and simple lol
