Wow! I was impressed when i thought he was making a fancy coaster… The shot at the end was awesome.
Love it. I wish I had the patience for such delicate woodworking.
It is shibumi. "Shibumi is a Japanese word that means ‘effortless perfection’. Anything that is Shibumi is quiet in refinement, noble and fulfilling in a manner that is not shaped exclusively by analytical thought." Shibumi is also a great book by Trevanian
You have an amazing skill and do some beautiful work.
This is so relaxing. Thank you!
My goodness that’s beautiful! Video well done. Thank you. All the best.
Beautiful work, he’s probably got 179 of those jigs, one for every angle.
"The best in classic and contemporary surfboards since 1959" Harbor Surfboards coffee cup, you have wandered far from home
Exemplary. Thank you for sharing.
What is this song?!
Awesome video and awesome channel! One question though. What would be the best way to prepare stock for Kumiko using only hand tools?
Always inspired by your work Mike, excellent video Ben
Simple a piece of ART! Thanks for sharing

Nagyon szuper munka, szeretném elkezdeni. Sajnos nem tudok angolul, így a beszédet nem értem. Az írott szöveget fordítom.

Michael San, that was impressive.
that’s beautiful, just curious, how long it took you to get to this level of Mastercraft?
Thanks for sharing 🙂
Disappointed at music in a video about quiet art. I wanted to hear the sounds in his studio only.
Gorgeous work. I love craftsmanship so much
When I was at a open house at Connecticut Valley School of Woodworking I met you and you were doing a demonstration on this I could not believe that these joints are pressure fit no type of glue are used. I had a great day but meeting you was awesome.

That is beautiful work.

I watch a lot of your videos and follow your Insta. This is by far one of my favourites. I’ve made my own kumiko panel and I walk past it virtually every day and I’m reminded that one day I will make it to one of your courses, even though I live on the other side of the world. I’ve lost count how many times I’ve watched it, sometimes at the end of the day it’s nice just to tune out and watch you at work. Thank you and a huge thank you to Ben.
It’s not that quiet with this annoying guitar playing
You have an amazing skill and do some beautiful work.
Wow! Meticulous, peaceful and rewarding craftsmanship. Engagingly produced video.
❤️❤️❤️❤️👍 thank you!
Nice work.
Absolutely stunning. The patience and talent that goes into something like this is amazing. Thank you for sharing!
Beautiful work, bravo Mike!
How do you make the long thin pieces? Seems like it would be dangerous on the table saw.
