@4:07 I totally agree. I have a table saw, but I’m, unhappy with how short the table is for in-feed and out-feed, as well as the cut width isn’t big at all. I like this design quite a bit. Thank you for this video, definitely inspires me to rebuild my saw to be more useful for me.

  11. Richard Lopez on July 26, 2023 at 3:17 pm

what you use to cut out all the parts?

  16. Terence Alderson on July 26, 2023 at 3:25 pm

what size saw did you use? I looked around for a big enough saw and the ones that were what I thought would be big enough (8 – 10 inches) seemed very expensive. I love this idea. The surface area is so much bigger than what you get with a contractor saw, which is the comparable price I think. Thanks for the great ideas and for motivating me to think outside the box. Hey, are you Canadian? That saw is a canadian tire saw. Not sure if that’s they’re new brand or not. thanks again!

  18. SLIM'S BOXING COMMENTARIES on July 26, 2023 at 3:26 pm

Hey John.. The top wood u use for te table is really nice man. Is that just a smooth CHIPBOARD u used anf put some blue resin effect on it?? Or was it just a blue enamel paint or something like that?? I’m just asking bcos most ppl are using te more expensive 1/2 inch Plywoof to build their tables on here..
I’m no trying to be a smart ass but how much did te complete build cost bro?? I will be buying the plans this week anyways. I LIVE THIS DESIGN & THE SMOOTHNESS OF TE BUILD

  19. Ben Flynn on July 26, 2023 at 3:26 pm

Wow!!! you are very talented. You must not be married because my wife would be there telling me what to do. I didn’t see her on the video.

  23. Wilmark Johnatty on July 26, 2023 at 3:33 pm

Can i see a parts lists – I dont live in the US. I want to make sure i can source the materials before i buy the plans. I am assuming that the plans will show you all of the cuts you have to make, and then the rest of assembly.

  24. ORLANDO Santos on July 26, 2023 at 3:33 pm

John what the name of the blue material you used

  25. Danielle Simmons on July 26, 2023 at 3:34 pm

I really want to do this! Gotta few questions though. What about dust collection? Think you’ll add that sometime soon? Also, how much did the material cost?

  26. Sam Pitt on July 26, 2023 at 3:35 pm

Are the plans available in metric mm format?

  27. Michael Hancock on July 26, 2023 at 3:35 pm

Do you have plans for a 220v 10" saw?

  28. couz10 on July 26, 2023 at 3:36 pm

Sir… You are tempting me!!! Really nice job!

  29. Telly Leer on July 26, 2023 at 3:37 pm

What is the blue material and how do you get it

  30. Dries Schreurs on July 26, 2023 at 3:39 pm

Nice build, but the way you saw with your fingers that close to the blade is not safe. Even if you’re ok with doing that yourself, it’s not a good example for a diy YT video.

  31. Ross Wells on July 26, 2023 at 3:39 pm

    Amazing.

Fantastic video. Very well explained. Thank you

  36. Tony Bove on July 26, 2023 at 3:47 pm

I was surprised to see that you used a MAXIMUM circsaw for this. Is that not Canadian Tire’s value brand? I didn’t think that brand would be sufficient to meet your needs.

  37. carnaflycasting62 on July 26, 2023 at 3:48 pm

    👍💪😉

    Beautiful

  41. nickrd182 on July 26, 2023 at 3:53 pm

Problem is I will need a table saw to build this table saw. Step 1 is buy that table saw, where I would likely stop.

  42. The Spaniard on July 26, 2023 at 3:53 pm

John, this is an awesome build. I have a question: do you have a mechanism for raising/ lowering the blade, or do you just flip the top open and do it manually?

  43. Arie Al-Amin on July 26, 2023 at 3:56 pm

    Excellent creativity
Yes, I also learnt much carpentry and woodworking from

  44. Frank Houck on July 26, 2023 at 3:56 pm

John – great build. I am looking to build a table saw/router table combo and have a couple questions:
    1. What’s the surface material?
    2. I love to hinged sdd we ruin to easily access the saw. I assume you use that to adjust height of blade??
    3. Can you use the miter feature of circular saw with this build? Or do you have to open the zero tolerance insert to allow blade to tilt? Can you get a 45?

    Thanks.

  45. Larry Hutcherson Sr on July 26, 2023 at 3:56 pm

I really like this table, but wonder what you are doing for dust collection?

  46. Dan Oesterman on July 26, 2023 at 3:57 pm

I’m so jealous of all your little shelves and drawers for keeping things organized, especially so since you can pull out the entire little cubby to bring the screws and things with you.
My workshop is in a garage and it was my grandpas before me but it’s fairly disorganized and there’s so much to go through and I’m trying to replace things and organize it and etc
