It’s no secret that we’re in a bit of a horror renaissance at the moment. Rather than tried-and-true franchises, the genre has been exploring new and exciting properties, resulting in box office and critical success. While films like Get Out, Don’t Breathe, and The Conjuring have broken new ground, franchises like Halloween and Saw have recently returned to the forefront of the genre. The latter’s latest sequel, Jigsaw, hit theaters this past October, and it seems like a ninth film may be on the way. All of the films have featured appearances by Tobin Bell as John Kramer/Jigsaw, and the actor recently told us which of Jigsaw’s traps were his favorite.

I thought about my three favourite traps, and I accidentally managed to guess 2/3 of Tobin’s(the Bathroom and the Needle Trap). The only difference between ours was that I picked the water bucket from Saw V as my third, simply because of how ingeniously Strahm escaped from it.

the traps that were about Karma: my favorite would be the meat scales in Saw 6. The other ‘Karma’ games, like Bobby Dagen’s and William Easton’s were not that fair, since they involved so many people who were merely ‘footsoldiers’ (Bobby’s people didnt even know about his lies) and which lives were in the hands of someone else, contradicting John’s philosophy *Everyone deserves a chance"

My favorite JIGSAW trap is the "Spiraling Blade of Doom" that’s triggered by the running motorcycle from the top. When I was a kid, I used to like watching propellers spin very slowly and fast, and also my grandfather who passed a long time ago showed me a little fruit blender that turns water into tornado, which was awesome and fun. I also have one of my own, but it’s been a long time since I last SAW a spiraling tornado in the blender. LOL 😀

The fact that John Kramer is killed in Saw III and Tobin still managed to carry 4 more films is truly a testament to his acting. He only has a cameo in Saw VII and Jigsaw yet steals the show.
I am definitely like Tobin Bell.
