Worst voice-over writing ever…one horrible cliche after another. And if you listen with headphones, the voice is limited to one ear/channel. So annoying. I couldn’t finish it.

I hate to tell the channel and it’s sponsors (or donors) that you don’t need any of these tools. I’ve been woodworking for over 45 years and have made just about everything possible in that time – using many different joints, timbers, veneers, adhesives etc. there are quite a few tools available now, or in the last 10 or 15 years, to a small shop that were not around 30 years ago. A good table saw, a jointer, router, battery tools and even a domino. There are things like modern glues and abrasives that make our work easier.

But the the tings featured in these video are just like workshop porn. You don’t need them; they won’t make you a better woodworker but they will make other people richer.

For instance, if you want a spline jig, it takes about 30 minutes to make one of your own and using just scraps. If you want to understand how, then YT has many videos of people making these jigs.

Buy less tools but learn how to really use the ones you’ve got to their full potential.
