Thanks Izzy, love them all. I’ve been thinking about one of those handheld spindle sanders for a while. You sold me!
If you didn’t exist…..I wouldn’t know what I don’t know! 🤣 Loved the video and loved the tips!!
I too wear my pajamas pants in my shop.. lol
Already my favorite YouTube channel for woodworking! Thanks!
These "tips" are ridiculous! They are ridiculously simple. An even more ridiculous i hadn’t thought of them 20 years ago! Thanx Izzy, ur the man! 👊🏿
Love the mag switch idea
Giant meat paws!
Thank you very nice love your videos
That saving and thus buying more tools logic speaks to me so well. Mmmmmmmm.
very helpful tips and tricks, thanks
That made me chuckle!
Some great tips and tricks!
Good tips!
Yup, rubber band, mega.sonic.BOOM ! Subscribed because the Bear told me.
Now I have to remember to do all of these I needed the rubber hack to hold fence down
awesome tips!
Izzy you are like the Dali Lama of shop tips. There are lots of tips are posted on the web that help you do one thing once in a while. But your tips are actually helpful every day….or at least every week or two. That edge banding tip alone was awesome. No more strips of tape hanging off my sleeves.
Or.. just buy yourself a 3d printer.
Awesome video, I’m going to order a magnetic switch. Thanks.
dude the spring clamp trick is genius
Izzy, great tips and tricks. Thank you for sharing. And saving money too. More money for wood! Woo Hoo!!!
An important note about pinking shears: NEVER use your resident seamstresses shears. She will kill you. Use an old second hand shear, or buy one just for garage duty.
That flap-sanding trick alone is worth the price of admission.
Excellent ideas for me as I have limited use of one hand.
Simple to complicated. Izzy never stops thinking. He is not trapped in this is how we always do it.
Such an interesting video, Izzy. Thank you for sharing. Your tip for attaching a dust extraction hose is a week late. I spent half an hour fitting one only to find I hadn’t put the clamp on first! 🌞
I always try to keep rubber bands because they just seem inherently useful. Now I know what to do with them at last. Excellent tips!
Thought this guy was a homeowner hack, glad I watched. I’ve subscribed
Everything is better, lubricated.
Well that was an instant follow. I’m just mad that I hadn’t found your channel before this.
Very cool set of tips and man, are you fun to watch. I bet you are a hoot to work with in the shop. Keep em coming. Awesome video!
This is my first video seeing this channel.
Sweet thanx
Pleasantly surprised that you’re ideas were original for me. 😎👍
This video is EXCELLENT! You just earned a subscription. 😃👍
Izzy you are the shizzy!
Great tips, love this format of presentation. Thanks & best wishes!

Wow, an awesome set of tips and tricks for us beginner woodworkers. Thank you for sharing.
I dont find a notification bell? I enjoy your videos.
Thanks for the tips. I was about ready to buy a bunch of ‘bandy clamps’ until I added them to my cart and saw the price. Never mind! I used rubber bands and cheap spring clamps. They worked great and saved me $$$$
rubber band spring clamps for edge banding, dowel with sandpaper, really great stuff, will absolutely be using the dowel trick sometime soon. Along with your paint stick sanding file, super 77 and some sheet sand paper is easy peasy and what I use in the shop!
Good video!
As an even easier trick than cutting a slot in the dowel, you can simply use some gaffer tape to stick the end of a ribbon of sandpaper onto the dowel. If the ribbon is wrapped around the dowel many times, so much the better. As the sandpaper wears out, simply tear the end off the ribbon and you have a fresh piece exposed.
9:16 You can also use old sanding sponges wrapped with sand paper. It works well on tight spaces & wonders on contours. Sand paper lasts much longer than the sand sponges & costs less, plus some styles have different angles which can also be beneficial.
5:58 even easier…turn the pipe upside down and then you only need to hold the bolt…
Very nice tips thanks
Izzy, like always you have a genius about you. Just bought the spindle sander.
You are a different breed. Wow, God speed to you in all your aspersions.
