Hey folks! A slightly different film from the norm and a shift in focus from home brewing and cooking to DIY, with the unboxing and a review of a new JCB chop saw.

The film features me unking the chop saw, reviewing the instructions, setting it up and then using it to cut up fire wood. This is an excellent and very powerful chop saw that easily gets through the wood. Since making this film I have also cut wood at angles for building using the mitre function, which again works very well. After a month of usage my only gripes are that the blade that came with the saw isn’t as robust as I would like and has already begun to wear down. I will soon be buying a replacement blade, the arm on the chop saw also doesn’t stay down with the lock and I don’t know why. With all that said, this is still a very decent bit of kit and I hope to get many years of usage out of it. Cheers!

Dude, you probably shouldn’t be using a mitre saw like that. For starters you’re using your wrong hand to operate the saw but also you’re not even holding the timber you are cutting. It’s extremely dangerous to operate a mitre saw like that. I suggest you go on YouTube to get some tips on safe usage before your next video.

    Great tool mate .

    But please use it properly…
You stand front of the saw, so you are looking towards the blade..

Always clamp the wood, when cutting
