The biggest problem is that you can’t get spare parts. I can’t even find a dust bag for mine. So I will be displaying someone else’s.

I’ve got both machines. I built a wheeled stand that they can both be operated from. Zimmer frames 22.5mm can be modified as well also a kids playpen the one that’s a pain to fold up. You can raise it up by getting 17mm steel rods and replacing the verticals. When it’s up a work top can be laid on top and secured down with the white pipe clamps 15mm and 22mm for zimmers toilet seats get the clamps from screwfix I use disabled stuff 1. NHS doesn’t want them back. 2. a lot of people just dump them and they have rubber feet and height adjustable. hope this gives you some ideas.

Hi, thank you for sharing the unboxing review of this tool.
Just one question for you. Now that you’ve owned it for a while, how would you rate its performance and accuracy?

    Hi. Can you help please
I’ve bought this Mitre Saw and the handle/saw won’t retract/go back up. Is there something I need to do. Thanks

For an entry level saw there’s nothing wrong with it. Especially for the price.

  10. Kim Garry on March 28, 2022 at 6:54 pm

Is this mitre saw supposed to have a laser on it? Oh and this is a really good video as well 🙂

Not comparing like with like, so pointless.

why does my blade stop sometimes when i gently push it into the wood to cut? The blade is secure and the guard is being utilised properly but the blade just seems to be stopping as soon as it hits the wood

Thanks, just at B&Q and saw one for £52 but reviews on website weren’t good. Would you have an idea how this compares to the Evolution R210CMS?

Mac allister products are often under rated sadly, but they aren’t as bad as many people think. Sure there are a few power tools from the range that aren’t that good but those are been discontinued or will be pretty soon.
Also, people are expect high end experience and quality under 100 pounds and they are disappointed if the product fails or does not perform as a good as a Makita.
Most of the returns I have seen were power tools which were abused and used for trade project rather than DIY as they were intended.
I think I’m buying it tomorrow especially if it is till there!

Seems decent for the money you paid. Is there much play in the body of the saw at all from the hinge

Can someone help please , so today my dog decided to chew through the wire of my saw 🤬 , luckily there was a good length left with the plug attached. So I’ve taken the wire of and replaced it but I couldn’t remember what wire goes where , there is a brown and blue but it attaches into a transfer box ( I think ) can someone tell me what order they should be . Cheers
