  12. Naui Diver on June 23, 2023 at 1:43 pm

Sorry but this is terrible and time consuming. I take a grinder with a metal cutting disk and make new teeth and go. They sell a table grinding tool for sharpening lawn mower blades. Basically a bunch of grinding disk with washers between them and takes 2 seconds. I guess it depends on how often you use them. I’ll start my day with a new blade or one I’ve sharpened. But great idea to get the most for your money. These blades are expensive!

I found you at the perfect time! I have the files and a pile of dull blades, just have to buy the vise. Thanks! 👍

  16. Don Lanteigne on June 23, 2023 at 1:45 pm

At 65 cents a blade for 55 blades, this isn’t worth my time or efforts.

  17. Harold McLean on June 23, 2023 at 1:47 pm

    Brilliant

  24. FuriousVigor on June 23, 2023 at 1:58 pm

I would personally use a Dremel tool with a little cut off wheel rather than a file. Nothing wrong with the file of course.

Is there a brand you recommend for the multi tool? Or a brand to stay away from? Corded or cordless for a home DIYer. occassional use.

  30. Craig Oliver on June 23, 2023 at 2:05 pm

Excellent. A comprehensive video without a lot of fluff you don’t want or need.

On a scale of 1-10, how important is it to have one of these oscillating tools in your tool shed?

  34. Pam on June 23, 2023 at 2:08 pm

    Thank you!!!

  35. Emperor Pawpateen on June 23, 2023 at 2:10 pm

This only works in Alabama since having missing and broken teeth are required.

  37. GunClingingPalin on June 23, 2023 at 2:15 pm

Mill Bastard hun.. just say it..

  38. Fred Farkle on June 23, 2023 at 2:16 pm

Awesome tip. Those blades go dull fast unless you buy Carbide ones. This saves who knows how much $$ and gets you through the job without burning through the cut and abusing the motor. Thanks valuable info.

  39. CC Hemmes- SeeSeeArt on June 23, 2023 at 2:16 pm

Thanks! A great teacher. I appreciate these videos. I bought some ‘for wood’ blades, that say ‘triple’ cut.. so how do you file that? I’d guess it is possible, if you can create new teeth- i never would have imagined that is possible.

  40. ikymagoo on June 23, 2023 at 2:17 pm

    Awesome, thank you!

  41. War Pigs on June 23, 2023 at 2:20 pm

Thanks again! Still sharpening my blades for 4 years now

  42. Cmdr Tiger King on June 23, 2023 at 2:21 pm

you can file both directions doensnt matter …. the whole one way is just stubborn old "correct way" simple search for it and youlld find plenty of test results;.

  43. Ruthven78 on June 23, 2023 at 2:22 pm
