What's Made in America? Tools and Companies [2022]
Made in the USA tools and equipment have always been a hot commodity, we wanted to take stock of what’s actually made here in America and celebrate the companies who are putting American workers to work. There are two problems with that, of course. One, we can’t possibly include everybody, and two, the rules keep changing regarding when you can actually say a product or tool is Made in America.
#USA #America #Economy
USA! USA! USA!
You will never take away my USA tools! USA BABY.

Park Tool – Bicycle Tool Company . Oakdale Minnesota…… Great Tools!!!!!!
It’s pretty sad you made this video 11 months ago right after ideal shut down western forge who made almost everyone’s adjustable wrench, screw drivers and pliers. Ideal killed them. And ideal just sold sk to a Chinese company last week.
Wilde is pronounced will-D. Not wild.
Wilton sold out moving all the vises, c clamps and hammers and normal individual would buy to China. No homeowner is going to buy 1500 dollar machinist vise.
You forgot mayhew. They make punches, chisels pry bars and other striking tools for many companies.
Most of the companies you listed don’t make any American made tools anymore. Such as crescent, matco, and half a dozen more.
LOVED THIS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I just looked at power tools today. Most of the Dewalt tools are made in china. The china made tools have their ‘made in china’ stickers under the battery. 1 or 2 were made in mexico. And a couple were made in USA with global materials. If there was a brand that solely made their tools in the USA, I would buy them.
Look forward to boycotting communist companies/countries, and I’m happy to pay the extra price.
Proto is owned by URREA they are Mexican owned. URREA IS HIGH-END tool brand. USA is not the only place where good tools are made people.
Heads up, Billerica is pronounced "Bill -Rick-Ah", I know, not how it’s spelt, but that’s how it pronounced in Mass.
7:03 – Precision drill manufacturing with sledgehammer
Imagine a war with China and that China says that a ship does not leave for America
Hustler zero turn mowers. 🇺🇲👍
Original Cab Company makes sun tops for mowers with ROPs bars. Excellent quality. I have one. 👍
Chinese manufacturing is so fucking awful. Trust me, I’m Chinese. Don’t do it. I don’t care how cheap it is.
currently sitting with my stitched up leg after my jigsaw exploded.
john deer is usa made but they have made it so that they break and then only they can fix them and you have to get the huge tractor towed too them even if its just a small easy fix and the computer is making the thing not run. I love john deer but thats not ok.
I work construction and don’t mind paying a little more for tools made anywhere other than China. Just today my local Home Depot missed out on at least 300$ because I’m looking for a cordless hammer drill and every brand I picked up said Made In China. With this ongoing plandemic I refuse to buy anything made in China.
America for ever
Some very high quality tools left. Like. Estwing, Hutchins , Midwest, bondhus, Elkind , Mayhew, trusty cook. 100 %made in USA many big us flag stickers on their products ☺️they are very proud their products 100%usa made
You included too many companies or brands who just barely make only a few products here, any number of companies with serious American production could have gone in their place

I bought an metric Swanson speed square in Germany, "Made in USA" for a Premium price. Around 50 Dollars.
I had never seen before something before like this in this kind of quality.
Nearly all scales where off by 1.5 mm and it was not even square. You cound see it with the bare eye. Made in USA was never a sign for quality.
Randall Knives, made in Orlando Florida
The Milwaukee tools I saw were made in china.
I just wish Milwaukee was an American company
S.K. Tools has just been sold to the Chinese, not sure if that includes all of Ideal Tools? It’s a terrible shame, because I Love my SK Tools.
Craftsman is made in Taiwan, according to the new v series label
Swanstrom makes good but very expensive side cutters, Sioux Tools makes some downright decent air tools that stand up to regular production.

Last week I needed a new drill, I went to Lowes and looked at all the drills they sell. DeWalt, Craftsman, Ryobi, etc, None were made in USA. I might as well try some Harbor Freight tools. What really annoys me is, US companies having tools made in China, then charging top dollar for them as if they were made here with higher paid labor.
MTD also owns the Troy Bilt brand in addition to Cub Cadet. It’s interesting to see which companies really own the brands we have.
Fireball in Spokane Washington
Shouldn’t be allowed to state “made in the USA with global materials.”
It should say “packaged in the USA” so we can mark the price up 5x.
I have two "Buck" knives that are made in China. You have named a few companies that do not manufacture exclusively in the USA.
I’ll support countries that work well with the USA, I will not support Chinese products. This is also my standard with clothing products.
There are several of these companies that only a smaller percentage of there tools in America and most of them made in overseas plants like China. Milwaukee , craftsman, Dewalt, just to name a few. Many of these companies just put token plants in the U.S. just to save face. Some of the other plants are on the up and up being True American manufacturing. Maybe some are seeing the War drums beating in the pacific with China? They wouldn’t be moving plants back here just to be patriotic. There to greedy 💰$$ 🏦$$$ to do that. John deer has huge plant in Germany that I drove by. This is deceiving to say theses are American made products.
So you make one or two tools in America out of 10 or 20 pieces? Lansing tools are true American made tools out of Michigan .
SCAG
Funny how the best products seem to come from Asia companies that both build and assemble their products in the USA. When the design and quality is managed in other countries it seems to be better.
My lawnmower engine was built by Honda in Lewisville SC and assembled in China by Husqvarna. Design and Quality is managed in Japan and Sweden, Honda does have R&D in Lewisville.
My 1st Toyota was built in Japan but assembled in Kentucky, since then they’ve been built in Indiana. Unsure if the engines are built in the US or Japan as there are multiple sites but definitely Sienna assembly is done in the USA since 1997.
Any product I’ve purchased that were USA Only has been good quality but often maintenance costs are much higher, and reliability has been an issue.
There are cheaper products sure but the trend is Asian companies manufacturing in the USA 🇺🇸 is a better product than purely 🇺🇸.
video made by a tool, maybe my mistake i was expecting a handtool video not lawnmowers
Craftsman labels are 2 different border colors around their logo. One is black and one is white , not sure but I think the black border is still part of the old sears branding.
I am researching mechanic tools I keep coming back to a small company wright tools quality made in the USA life time warranty tools at reasonable prices. I cant afford Mac or Snap On prices but I don,t want to buy cheap chinese junk either. I want to buy wrench & a socket set that will last the rest of my life
THIS IS A GREAT VIDEO.
Dewalt tools are made in china now 2021
Put Donald J Trump back in office and it will continue to grow and do more work in the USA
Your really stretching the term "power tools"
Pretty much all of these companies have products made in china. In some cases, the majorityu of their products are made in china. Now they are claiming that products that are 100% chinese made, but assembled in america are american made.
Although most of Husky tools are made in China, some such as larger air compressors are made in the USA.
Well SK is now off that last 🤦🏼♂️ so sad
sad face. I like Milwaukee tools and I didnt like dewalt until I just found out that dewalt is a USA made tool. And I know that Ryobi Ridged and Milwaukee are all the same Chinese company. The question is are the parts USA made? But its still better than all Chinese made.
For most "made in America" products and tools, made in America only refers to the paper packaging in which the Chinese products are replaced in after arriving in America before US sellers tripling the price nowadays even Milwaukee tools are 100% Chinese
Typical governmental labeling mumbo-jumbo. Either the tools are made in the USA, or they’re not! If any part of any tool is made by the American-murdering, covid creating chicoms, then refuse to buy it.
