Useful information.
Relief set or round set?
Thank you for the great video. I can’t help but mention how much you sound like Christopher Walken though. I closed my eyes in parts and could swear it was the actor himself discussing carving. Very cool!

this is for beginners? i don’t know what most of the terms he is using means…
such a god help ty x
There is so much contradictory information about carving, especially on bevel shaping. This video suggests a slightly curved profile; Mary May says this is a no-no – the profile should be completely flat, a concave or convex grind won’t carve well ; others say that a hollow grind is correct. What’s a beginner to do… 🤷♂️🤦?
I never really tried wood carving before, but, I’m trying to carve the marshmello’s helmet face on wood.
Thanks
Great video, thankyou for sharing.
Thanks. What kind of wood is good to carved?
I use home-made chisels. Can be done for little money. But I also have Pfeil. These are very good chisels.
Gained a brain cell

Thank you for this! I learned so much in just the first few minutes… Answered a lot of my questions I had
This was a great video thanks! I’m coming home from deployment soon and my son says that he’s interested in wood carving. That means I better get interested too!
Master Geppetto in real life.
Great. Thanks.
Lame. I’ve never seen a video of woodcarving hand tools, ever used for wood carving. You scraped a board.
7:20 dont do that with your chisels. it will harm the edges. handle them with care and make sure the knives are facing opposite directions (i!i!i!)
thank you I want to start this carpentry job I want to know the price of these scissors thank you.
I’m in the process of learning wood carving in order to make my fictional book as realistic as possible. Thanks.
I got a set of chisels as a present some time ago and i didn’t really know how to use them. This was very informative. Thank you

What do you think of the Flexcut brand?
One of the best teachers I have ever known and a true gentleman to boot.
I feel like an elf learning from Santa how to make toys 🎅💕
Thanks for that video, its definitely lifted some fog regarding woodworking.
What about a rotary tool?
Fantastic vid little things in your technique while using the mallet I picked up on helped a ton 😁
A lot of detail and somehow easy to digest! Really good job. Thank you for the video!!
I’m thinking about becoming a guitar luthier since I love playing music and I’m already artistically inclined (i draw, paint, and sculpt with clay) I have a little experience with subtractive mediums (we carved some sort of foam in sculpture class) but I’ve never used wood as a medium before. What is the best wood for a beginner to practice carving and what kind of project should I go for first? Something like a spoon seems like a good start. Are tools like knives also useful for a beginner?
Thank you for your very informative video!
I always wanted to carve my inspired by Bobby dukes art
