Great vid! Thx for the tips! Any thoughts on a mini compact circular saw for hobbyist/diyer just for quick, small projects ex. shelves & frames?
Thanks for this video.. it’s very useful π
Thank you.
I noticed in other videos of yours you use Empire brand (Home Depot) squares. I have these but, Iβve noticed they are all 1/16β off at a slight angle. Is this normal, or a fault of Empire? Is there a better yet as easily accessible brand?
Thank you! now i know where should i start.
i was so confusing at what tools or machines should i get first since financial is limited. You saved people like us days!
Absolutely Great info!
Exactly what I needed! Kudos for your great work!
I have to say you are awesome and do a great job of providing information. You started with the most important stuff first the safety equipment. People should put the highest priority on that even before they touch any power tools. BTW The pace was fine, having the list of links makes it easy too. I’ve been inspired to go get some tools and start making some stuff.
Im watching this in 2020 from Zimbabwe and I would like to thank you very much for this list, it has helped me a lot as I start my journey in wood work
Thank you
So glad I came across you videos. Very informative. I like woodworking but I don’t have the skills. I think with the right tools and determination, a simple project can be done (to begin with). Thank you!
LOVE THIS CHANNEL! I do have some of those tools already! It was a great start! Thanks!!
I love your attention to detail.
this was pretty awesome. You just convinced me to click on "proceed to checkout" and get that Kreg pocket-hole jig that’s been in my cart forever. Not sure why you recommended that router over the miter saw for starter tools, but I’m not a professional. I’m guessing cost. I need to watch some more of your videos. Thanks
Woodglut has very good designs and plans.
"I recommend this guide:

So grateful it exists in 2020."
PPE is #1
Great to see you starting out with safety. Too many presenters neglect this. Great videos.
Almost feed by all these tools and usufulness! I guess only differences is the using of tape measure.
The pace was listenable. Informative video. Thanks ππ±
I think that I need a ‘soft’ loan to buy these tools!π
Thank you! U r the only one that didn’t assume we already had all these tools! Thank you!
Thank you, Glen. Do you have an update on the tools for beginners?
6:37 Dude, you’re already a professional youtuber! Great video.
Old guys: I’m making this cut with my $12,000 table saw and another $1,000 in accessories partially paid for by my sponsors who I will spend the first 5 minutes of every video talking about and whose logos are prominently displayed throughout the entire video.
Glen: I’m making this cut by using a couple Harbor Freight clamps to hold a straight piece of plywood and a $70 circular saw.
Glen makes it accessible for everyone.
Glen for the win.
Good reasoning.
I have a very different approach to buying tools.
This is a very helpful list! Thank you! π
I picked up a miter saw on craigslist that was awesome as a beginner woodworker
i find that when i use the jigsaw my lines aren’t always as straight as with a regular saw. especially if i’m going diagonally. any tips for that?
Super thankful for this content. Just bought my first circular saw and have been binging your videos!
Thank you! I needed this information because I really want to start more DIY projects. Subscribed and Following π
I really enjoyed your presentation. Your explanation of "how to" is very straightforward and easy to follow. I am glad that I found your DIY projects on youtube. Thank you and I look forward to watching more projects. Have a wonderful day and please continue creating because it seems like you were meant to teach. Thank you again. Jan
your movie is really good, ever i’ve seen thank you from korean user
i was looking for this Glen π
Great information. Very helpful. Thank you.

I don’t have any plans of having a house anytime soon. I live in an apt. Should I give up if I don’t have a home to have a space to move around and build things?
Ok young man, I am trying to start doing something and your videos got me ready to build. I am retired Army combat veterans and you are going to be my therapist through your videos. I am on my way to buy these tools now. My counselor and psychiatrist said I need to do something to take my mind off events and need to get out. This is going to be it for me. I am not going to have to be around people and I can be in my own world. Thanks a lot. I will be sharing your page with others battle buddies and vets.
I purchase the blade pack you have so far their good blades
I like the way you prepare your tools. I will prepare a set and start imitating your work.
Awesome as always! Yes you go fast. I don’t care, it works for me. I love your content! I can watch it again to catch what I missed. Some of you may ask, what if I don’t have an internet connection later? Take a look at a "Firefox" extension called, "Video DownloadHelper". It allows you to save videos onto your HDD to view later. No, I don’t work for Mozilla. Lol! Be safe out there!
Good job but you are not using any of those without a pencil..lol
What about a table
Very useful. Great presentation!
thank youuuuu! I truly appreciate this video
Brilliant canβt wait π
Thank You Sir!!! Much Appreciated!!! ππ
Are you using an adapter with a but or just 1 long bit in ur drill? It seems like that would help me more. Can you provide the name or a link please? I have a Milwaukee Drill Driver.
"in 2019, this site helped me learn how to woodwork like a pro *learnwoodworking.store?6E* hope it helps you out too!"
Getting a router, which kind would you recommend.Plung or fixed?
