A cool extra tip for drilling the dowel hole to really lock it in and close up joint gaps… drill through the mortice on its own first. Then put the tenon in and push the drill back in to the hole to make a point mark on the tenon. From there take it out and drill it just a millimeter toward the outside corner so the mortice and tenon holes are a tiny bit offset. When you drive the dowel in it will force the tenon super tight into the mortice and really tighten up the joints! Great job on this piece keep it up! ๐ฏ
