That won’t ever warp and twist out of shape , not this week anyway ..
Good video, showing the construction of a solid wood single-post table.
However, the wind noise is unacceptable.
My late fiancé used to do woodworking as a hobby. Tiered corner shelves, flat shelves, working fish clocks, swan planters, shadow boxes . I used to help. I still have all his sand papers we used to do by hand. No machine. I have all his work he didn’t want to sell but keep for himself. My animal art pieces I do look good in Mike’s shadow boxes. I sanded he stained and put together. I helped him make our bed but sadly he didn’t live long enough to finish the drawers underneath. He would’ve loved to be able to cut wood with your thingy. My Michael had this hand held one. When I wasn’t working and Mike was, my job was to hand sand the pieces he cut for his tiered shelves. Love the feel of wood. I would come with Mike when he bought his wood. He was picky. He sold some of his stuff at flea markets. Mike used to sign and date his things and so do I. Watching wood workers brings back good memories of my Michael and his woodworking.
All those circles gave me the hebe-geebee’s 😮
Good
Very nice 👍
Liked the way you showed it off so much at the end, a lot of the channels don’t show the final piece complete for long enough, great work
Hola buenas tardes 😊
Great work, nice very nice !!!
Built for speed, not built to last
Normally: Let’s avoid all knots!
These guys: Hold my beer!
Was looking ok until the table top was ruined by making it look like a crappy chocolate chip cookie.
The top would have looked fine unaltered.
The best part of this video was the idiot at the end amelling the fake flowers.
Excelente trabajo, una obra de arte. Muchas felicidades.
Skilled. Very nice
I was suppose to be adding knots all these years?
Absolutely Amazing Craftsmanship!
Well done!

Use scissors for your nails please 🙏
Beautiful precision work and gorgeous results! 🎉
Beautiful work. Nit picking,,,,,,,, I would have spread the glue on both sides, (minor), filled the space around the circles with the sawdust and plugged the screw holes. But that doesn’t mean I don’t believe he did a beautiful job. He did. Attentio to the minor details can make a big difference.
Amei 😻 muito linda 💖
The control you had on the band saw was amazing. Great job.
Gotta say, I haven’t used a band saw in decades, but I know for sure there shouldn’t have been so much blade above the workpiece, it should’ve almost been touching the wood
"Many years of experience"??? No way! Poor wood choice, sloppy joinery, very poor finishing, impractical overweight end result… Sorry, maybe he was a 2×4 carpenter who built houses or worked on a construction site but his cabinetry is juvenile at best! Highschool kids do better!!!
Amei essa mesa ,ficou linda ,parabéns👏👏👏
No fluff, no product placement, no talking, just being a fly on the wall watching a seasoned master do his thing.
👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
does anyone else think it looks like a chocolate chip cookie ? lol
hey. He’s using his COVID mask.
Lindy and JLO are a really special couple! You two make me smile when I watch you video! Thank you for sharing!❤❤
I’ve found it’s best to glue together 1st then send through the joiner, that way you only have to send through the joiner once. But nicely done, that looks very good!
ingenious between humans and equipped with great designs that work quickly
Ok
Some rich white lady will pay $3k for this.
Always gets me nervous to see someone using a bandsaw and watching the worker reaching around or have their hands near the blade.
Now were all those dots really necessary? Ruined a perfectly good table.
Me: "nah, that piece of wood has to many knots. It won’t make a good tabletop. "
This guy:
Nice work but am I the only one that thinks it looks like a chocolate chip cookie
NOT for the trypophobic..
sorry but every carpenter apprentice do better work than this.
This is no craftsman skill ist only crooked glueing and a little router work with a few skrews nothing impressiv and how i say the middle piece is crooked.
and then there are the safty issues in this video never i repeat never drag a piece on the plainer backwards.
this video overall is terrible
Looks like the sort of thing a 15 year old would create for their craft/design exam(s). Massively underwhelming in terms of craftsmanship when compared to hundreds of years ago. Interesting to watch but underwhelming in terms of final product. A solid 4/10 for effort. Raise your game.
carpentry skills = 100 | dust collection plan = 0
Great job!
