If ever there was a time to have a foot pedal control brother, this is it. You can get one at Harbor Freight, Lowes, HD just plug in the saw and stomp on the pedal to cut. Nice setup by the way. Thanks for sharing.

Love it! Using scraps, saving cost, time, space, and giving gentlemanly credit to others. Plus ready when the wife calls 😉

While you were at Harbor freight, why didn’t you just pick up a foot operated power switch instead of going to the clamp and plugging the outlet in and out every time?

Thanks big guy . This is the best idea to use an old corded jigsaw I’ve seen on YT . I’ve got an old B & D jigsaw, 30+ years old . I simply drilled 4 holes into the face plate , and mounted that way. Can’t believe it works so well . From 🇬🇧

A tie strap would work better for holding the trigger in.

  14. Geko on September 12, 2022 at 2:02 am

to hold the trigger down try a zip-tie.

Nice work! It’s such a game changer having access to an inverted jigsaw like that. Good idea keeping it as one board too for easy storage, too! And thanks for the shout out!
