  4. AZ Highland Homestead on November 19, 2023 at 10:39 pm

I love my Jim Green Stockman slip on boots for ranch work around the homestead, but they are fully made in South Africa from South Africa parts. I live in the USA, so maybe I should try Nick’s Boots that you mention at 11:11 to see how they compare. Jim Green’s are only $160 however. Good, handmade boots.

    Where do get your flannels?

  8. Jake Meyer on November 19, 2023 at 10:44 pm

Ok, now I want a stocking cap that says, "Go Football!".

Probably even better than my green one that says, "Shako"…

  9. xxkinetikxx on November 19, 2023 at 10:44 pm

So ummm… Who made who lil bro?

  10. Dylan Barney on November 19, 2023 at 10:45 pm

Damn… so that’s how the other side can hang $$$

  11. ashagon on November 19, 2023 at 10:46 pm

I went to check out the boots and it was blocked for malware. Not good.

Another list of things I’ll never be able to afford, nor will anybody else be able to afford to buy me.

I haven’t even gotten into the video yet but i am impressed by your need to entertain us that you willingly injure yourself. Sorry it happened but Thanks for your commitment!

  14. Sarg on November 19, 2023 at 10:47 pm

Good morning. Thanks for your great content and the ISO Tunes order info. I’ve been in law enforcement for over 25 years, and woodworking is the one thing that has kept my sanity intact. I’ve been needing more usable ear protection for the shop. I saw that Peterson Pipe chart on the wall in one of your videos, and then a short time later in another video, you mentioned making pipes. That is an area I wanted to explore but have yet to. Thanks for your bourbon tips. I, too, am a conesour of single malt scotches and bourbons. Be well, and God Bless.

You put ketchup on your hot dogs? 🤢

  16. Ryan Daniels on November 19, 2023 at 10:51 pm

Great video thanks! Question though, do you use the 3m paper on your festool as well?

  17. Brads Workbench on November 19, 2023 at 10:51 pm

The 3m paper is great if u have the right dust extraction and sanding large flat surfacing. But u hit and edge and the grit is gone

  18. DuffCon on November 19, 2023 at 10:51 pm

Torsion bar knives (assisted open) are legal in California, I like Kershaw.

  19. You Heckin’ Betcha on November 19, 2023 at 10:54 pm

Duke cannons bloody knuckles works great too!

  20. yamahaxt652 on November 19, 2023 at 10:55 pm

I got a recommendation from some older folks for the dry hands. Corn Huskers. The smell reminds me of them (LMAO!!) but damn we’re they right. Absorbs almost instantly.

  21. Alan Jones on November 19, 2023 at 10:56 pm

Buy a genuine victorinox knife I’m 64 my dad gave me one when I was 16 it’s only ever required sharpening twice in all that time and I carry it everyday and use it most days

  22. Robbyn Enriquez on November 19, 2023 at 10:58 pm

The Pica pencil is a game changer for sure! I am a former architectural drafter (yup, by hand) and we used what’s called a ‘pointer’ pencil and those things are magic.

  23. Charles Johnstone on November 19, 2023 at 11:00 pm

The Why and How is a FANTASTIC book! Great recommendation!

  24. Y Frei on November 19, 2023 at 11:02 pm

Tell me more about the vacuum cleaner robot behind you at 6:50. It seems it’s made for workshops.

  25. osgeld on November 19, 2023 at 11:02 pm

I don’t like those pencils … they are fine for construction work but for fine work the lead can’t make it 6 inches without getting dull and fat … rather deal with a 0.7mm lead snapping on occasion than guessing +- 2mm over a line

  26. Chad Drews on November 19, 2023 at 11:04 pm

Is that a Bourbon Moth flannel shirt? I don’t see it in the shop…..

  27. Robert Kerby on November 19, 2023 at 11:05 pm

I really like these Amazing products!
    Well done!

  28. AZBone on November 19, 2023 at 11:05 pm

I didn’t realize the pencil had a sharpener in the cap. I thought the pencil was too fat but the sharpener changes things

  29. Cavedog on November 19, 2023 at 11:05 pm

Four Roses Single Barrel? That’s my personal favorite bourbon, and it’s only ~ $40 a bottle where I live (midwest). Always have at least one bottle of that on hand.

  30. charles barry on November 19, 2023 at 11:06 pm

That was a big dollop of O’keefes! 😂 a little goes a long wayyy!

  31. chuck grumble on November 19, 2023 at 11:07 pm

AVE said you should get some BLO rags

  32. Brandon McGuire on November 19, 2023 at 11:09 pm

I’ve been using Benchmade knives for over 20 years…made in USA! Actually in Oregon…the price is absolutely worth the quality, I’ve had a few different models and they can’t be beat.

Does that Stranahans have the banana aftertaste that their original had?

  36. Eric Newsom on November 19, 2023 at 11:14 pm

I like Corn Huskers Lotion. Put it on before and after woodworking sessions. It doesn’t leech in and stain wood like some others.

  37. Jeremy S on November 19, 2023 at 11:15 pm

With the O’Keefe’s, I was waiting for Jason to say, "It puts the lotion on it’s hands." 🤣

  38. Clintotron on November 19, 2023 at 11:15 pm

River tables are the shag carpet of the 2010s/2020s.

  39. Robert McGee on November 19, 2023 at 11:17 pm

The pencil, the bourbon, and the sander. Cheers! Oh honorable mention to the working hands.

  40. Chris Baird on November 19, 2023 at 11:17 pm

We need an entire episode with the Elf!

Great video. First time viewer, but now subscribed. I have had a branding iron for.a long time, but was frustrated trying to get it squared to the piece…until I found the Rockler branding iron guide. Game changer. I highly recommend it for anyone who brands their work.

@Bourbonmoth Have you heard of Quest’s End Whiskey? They are a fantasy themed (think D&D) limited run Bourbon sponsored by Matthew Lillard. The first bottle was Paladin which they rereleased as "Paladin +1" since the first run sold out quickly. They will have 16 themed bottles released every 3-4 months apart. Paladin is a 100 proof Bourbon that has a hint of vanilla. I got my bottle last night and opened it up. The vanilla smell is not overpowering and you only have the smallest hint at the beginning of the sip. You should check them out.
