You Will NEVER Believe What You Can Make From a SINGLE 1×3 Board | Woodworking Project | Scrap Wood

I have a lot of scrap wood 1×3 boards in my shop. You will never believe what you can make from a scrap 1×3 wooden boards. I don’t know why it took me so long to figure this out. This is a great woodworking project you can make with your kids or as a product to sell online.

A role model of father and son.
    Both are blessed πŸ™

  3. Polly Graff on February 12, 2023 at 4:51 am

Cool project. Please use something to hold your work piece when routing. You were doing climb cuts with your fingers very close to the cutter very dangerous.

  4. Kelly Jean on February 12, 2023 at 4:51 am

Great sword!! My son is a massive manga/anime fan so I made him a sword for his bday. He loves it.

  5. zirixpo on February 12, 2023 at 4:52 am

I can’t believe all the awesome tools you got at your disposal. Great video.

  6. Pvt Stash on February 12, 2023 at 4:54 am

lmao kids are smarter than us "Shouldn’t we have used gloves?"…. "Yeah, probably"

  7. Personal Account on February 12, 2023 at 4:55 am

If you were going to make a weapon, you could’ve just put a nail in the board lol

  8. Tom Hill on February 12, 2023 at 4:58 am

There’s nothing better than being a dad.

  9. Thomas Snowden on February 12, 2023 at 4:59 am

That kid is smart. "shouldn’t we just put on gloves"

The best wholesome video I have seen on YouTube in years.

  11. keith lyons on February 12, 2023 at 5:00 am

That’s great! My son and I do the same thing. He usually has ideas while I’m building. I love taking time to join in considering how much time after work I spend building my mom’s home. Thanks for showing me this. Never miss these moments no matter how busy you are. His childhood only happens once.

  12. Matthew Encina on February 12, 2023 at 5:00 am

My made something similar for me when I was younger. Love this!

  13. JD Hall on February 12, 2023 at 5:01 am

Please always use a push stick even for the band saw. My grandfather lost some fingers and a friend of mine recently also. Think it is great the way you include your son.

Tell me and I’ll forget. Teach me and I may remember. Involve me and I’ll learn.

A good video that becomes lovely at the end.

You’re building a relationship with your son. That’s the best thing you could ever build with a 1×3 piece of wood πŸ™‚

  25. Brian Barber on February 12, 2023 at 5:11 am

If it’s long enough, I can make a house out of it. If it’s too short, I can’t make anything more than a bookmark.

  26. Frank Ledford on February 12, 2023 at 5:14 am

    A board and a 1000.00 saw.

  34. Burton Breazeale on February 12, 2023 at 5:23 am

Well, you’re a safety nightmare in a shop. But cool build and idea. Should probably consider how you use your tools and the terrible position you put your hands in most of the time you’re working. Set a good example for your kid and ensure you can continue to do things like this with him.

  35. Home Decor Designs on February 12, 2023 at 5:24 am

    little project

  36. Stephen Brown on February 12, 2023 at 5:27 am

I never would have thought you could turn a long straight board into a sword! I was thinking maybe a table or a Ferris wheel, but a sword? Wow!

  37. Youn6J on February 12, 2023 at 5:27 am

Can’t wait til my sons of age to be working with me in the shop! He’s one and a half so a little while to go πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ€£

  38. Bruce Le Smith on February 12, 2023 at 5:27 am

haha min 7:06, not sure the ancient blacksmiths would recommend that methodology for putting the guard on the hilt… great video thanks!

  48. charles on February 12, 2023 at 5:41 am
