ZERO CLEARANCE Hack. cheap, quick and easy insert plate alternative for table saw.

How to cut thin timber strips on the table saw without a zero clearance insert plate.

Try this hack for the table saw blade next time you need a zero clearance plate.

Use some, strong tape, over the blade slot top create an easy zero clearance plate. One the tape is in place, wind up the blade carefully,. to cut the tape. to fit the riving knife and crown card slice the tape a little further with a chisel.

    Good video. What differences have you noticed between your Dewalt and Rage 5 table saws? Is the Dewalt worth the extra money? Which model Dewalt do you have?
